About The Position

The position of Principal Project Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the Lottery's internal computer systems and servers as well as performing audit and compliance functions. This positions responsibilities include but is not limited to: 1. Server/workstation management: Installing, setting up, configuration changes, monitoring of equipment and updating operating systems and server software. 2. User management: Creating and managing user accounts, permission, and access controls. 3. Network management: Monitoring workstation/server performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues. 4. Security: Applying updates and patches, managing antivirus solutions, handling backups, and enforcing security policies. Also, identifying IT security vulnerabilities and working to resolve identified and/or potential issues. 5. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and performance issues. 6. Backup & recovery: Implementing backup schedules, testing disaster recovery plans, and ensuring data integrity. 7. Automation: Using tools like PowerShell to automate routine tasks. 8. Documentation: Keeping records of configurations, procedures, and system changes. Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in information technology or information systems.
  • Understanding of current technologies and industry trends
  • At least five (5) years of experience in the information technology field.
  • Experience in performing IT security audits is also preferred.
  • Must have experience with computer server and workstation operating systems, remote desktop support/VPN, mobile device operating systems as well as supporting applications such as Office 365.
  • Must also possess understanding of networking concepts, as well as cloud platforms.
  • The individual must also have strong problem-solving skills, understanding of cybersecurity concepts, and good communications skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in performing IT security audits is also preferred.
