HPA’s diverse portfolio of differentiated technologies and products supports multi-year market drivers such as electrification, renewable energy, the increasing semiconductor spend in defense and 5G deployments outside of China.   This is an onsite role where the expectation is to be onsite four days a week in our Richardson TX office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; or equivalent semiconductor‑industry experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in semiconductor, defense/aerospace, or communications hardware with 10+ years of experience with RF semiconductors, microwave modules, or RF manufacturing/test flows.
  • Proven leadership of cross‑functional, multi‑site engineering and operations teams.
  • Strong schedule, budget, dependency, and risk management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, SAP, and BI/analytics tools (Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to align product, account, and functional leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across global teams.
  • Hands‑on Lean experience driving cycle‑time and process improvements.
  • Strong problem‑solving, organization, and decision‑making skills in fast‑paced environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in NPI and phase‑gate readiness for RF products/modules.
  • Experience mentoring project managers.
  • Certifications: PMP, Agile/Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience leading international, multi‑site programs or suppliers.
  • Ability to build KPI dashboards for cycle time, yield, cost, and risk.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the execution of complex product development programs, partnering closely with Product Line Managers to meet schedule, budget, and customer expectations.
  • Communicate internal assessments of program proposals to Account Managers and functional leaders to support alignment and decision‑making.
  • Ensure strong coordination between program teams and manufacturing operations including Design, Assembly, Test, Quality, and Logistics across both local and remote (including international) teams.
  • Mentor and develop other Project Managers to support growth and capability building within the organization.
  • Manage large‑scale projects with complex schedules, interdependencies, and risk profiles.
  • Identify and implement process improvements using lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and execution.
  • Drive cycle‑time reduction initiatives and ensure successful product launch readiness.
