The position involves managing and driving products through the Research and Development (R&D) New Product Introduction (NPI) process. This includes completing Phase Exit gates and delivering qualified products that meet NPI deliverables to the Operations team. The role requires coordinating customer meetings and communications, responding to customer requests, and developing and managing the project schedule. The individual will communicate status updates and escalate any gaps to stakeholders. As the primary team interface, the role involves working closely with the design team, internal support groups, operations team, and marketing. Setting, managing, and communicating expectations to the project team, management, and other stakeholders is crucial. The position also requires identifying and managing project resource constraints, dependencies, and critical paths to accomplish program goals and resolve issues. Additionally, managing material supply to ensure build configuration and schedule support required NPI deliverables is essential. Coordination of manufacturing deliverables with manufacturing and supply chain team members is also part of the role. Some travel for development activities may be required to enable global team coordination, product transfer, and problem resolution.
