This position is a part of Operations, Supply Chain & Quality (OSQ) finance team in the Raytheon company, Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) division supporting the Precision Fires & Maneuvers Sub Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). The TOW Missile program includes an efficient and effective team that relies on individual drive and integrity for success. It is expected that the candidate is capable of building business relationships, trust, and rapport with business contacts within not only the program, but also the product line and customer teams.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experienced user of SAP (APEX and/or Prism), RTN PMX, or similar system
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Tool Suite, particularly with Excel

  • Operations finance or factory/manufacturing finance experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information in support of business portfolio

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial analysis for both total program and product level cost elements to help define and understand monthly and quarterly variances from budget and EAC positions
  • Maintain accurate records for Budget and EAC tracking to ensure adequate funding is available using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Support the preparation of cost estimates for new business proposals and assist Estimating and Program Analysts in developing rationale for basis of estimates.
  • Risk and opportunity valuation and impact on contract profitability
  • Support material forecast, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP). Ensure alignment in assumptions between Program Office, FP&A Finance, OSQ Function, and Factory (FOMs) to drive performance.
  • Develop analysis to support OSQ Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & monthly reviews (PER/MBR/S&OP/S&OE)
