About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated, strategic, and experienced Principal Product Marketing Manager. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Business Development, and other Marketing teams such as Demand Gen and content, to bring CodeRabbit’s products to market. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is comfortable operating independently. You have a strong technical background and good understanding of Software development lifecycle and developer tools. You also have a talent for turning complex concepts into clear narratives, and a bias toward fast execution.

Requirements

  • The Storyteller: You have 7+ years of PMM experience, with a significant portion spent in the DevTools and platform. You can turn complex AI architecture into a compelling narrative. Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Technically Fearless: You understand Git workflows, pull requests, and the basics of how LLMs work, and are not afraid to look at code, comments, and configuration files.
  • Full-Stack Marketer: You are equally comfortable writing a punchy headline, analyzing competitive pricing models, and presenting to an audience of 100+ developers.
  • Customer-Obsessed: You thrive on interviewing and researching users. Can translate their "pain" into “value selling” frameworks for the sales teams, and "product requirements" for the PM team.
  • Ownership: We value autonomy. You see a gap in our messaging? You own the fix.
  • Collaborative team player: Experienced in cross functional work. Collaborate well with multiple stakeholders: Sales, Product, Engineering and other marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define the Category: Work on the positioning and messaging that defines our unique space in the AI-assisted SDLC.
  • Launch with Velocity: Lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for major feature releases (e.g., enterprise security features, or new pricing).
  • Enable the Field: Create sales training materials, pitch decks, battlecards, and case studies that help our sales team win against all sorts of competition.
  • Deep Persona Research: Understand the psyche of a skeptical Senior Developer, or a budget-conscious VP of Engineering. Tailor our value proposition to each.
  • Content Strategy: Partner with Demand Gen, DevRel, and content teams to produce high-signal content — Technical whitepapers, demos, blog posts, event presentations, etc.
