About The Position

Are you ready to make an impact? Principal Product Manager West Monroe is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join the Technology and Experience practice in one of our US offices. This role will involve collaborating with executive-level client stakeholders across a variety of industries to understand and define strategic business goals, translate them into functional requirements, and lead the delivery of impactful, innovative solutions. You will oversee end-to-end product management, from initial scoping and requirements gathering to deployment and validation of solutions, including AI-driven capabilities. As a Principal Product Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complex challenges, identify opportunities for leveraging AI and emerging technologies, and deliver measurable business value. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive product strategy, and ensure solutions align with both client objectives and West Monroe's high standards of delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required; advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Consulting firm/industry experience required, with a focus on managing client relationships and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in authoring business/technical requirements and high-quality user stories, with the ability to analyze, understand, and prioritize complex business problems, including those involving AI and data-driven solutions.
  • Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage product lifecycles.
  • Proficiency in PM tools like Jira for managing and tracking projects, including AI-related tasks and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, frameworks, and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure AI, AWS AI, or Google Cloud AI.
  • Knowledge of key AI concepts, including supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics, and the ability to collaborate with data scientists and engineers to define and deliver AI-powered solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment among senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to articulate the value of AI and emerging technologies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Passion for staying ahead of industry trends, particularly in AI, data science, and product management best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior client stakeholders to define and translate strategic business goals into actionable product roadmaps, with a focus on incorporating AI and advanced analytics to drive innovation.
  • Lead the development of user stories, process flows, and product requirements that support the design and delivery of enterprise-grade software solutions, including AI-powered features such as machine learning models, natural language processing (NLP), and predictive analytics.
  • Collaborate with client executives, business/technology teams, and West Monroe consultants to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation and deliver solutions that address complex business challenges.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions with stakeholders, balancing business value, development effort, and the potential impact of AI-enabled functionalities.
  • Drive the deployment of solutions, ensuring AI models and tools are effectively integrated into client workflows and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Identify inefficiencies and pain points in client processes, leveraging AI and automation to streamline workflows and enhance decision-making.
  • Oversee and continuously refine product backlogs within an Agile/Scrum team environment, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and AI-related initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide product managers and teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in product delivery.
  • Track and measure the success of deployed solutions, including monitoring the performance of AI models and ensuring alignment with client KPIs and business objectives.
