Tanner is looking for a Principal Product Manager (title dependent on experience) to own and drive the core recognition capabilities of our enterprise Culture Cloud platform. Culture Cloud is a unified suite of employee recognition applications and services that help employees thrive at work by connecting them to purpose, accomplishment, and each other. This experienced product professional will play a pivotal role in validating needs and conducting discovery and delivery activities with Product, Design, and Engineering team members to build enterprise-grade recognition experiences that delight end users and customers; both internal and external, while ensuring business objectives are met. Requirements

  • 6+ years of software Product Management experience, with a focus on building end-user experiences for complex enterprise software.
  • Strong leadership ability with proven experience influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, UX, Architecture, Engineering, QA, Customer Success, Support, and other partners).
  • Experience working with enterprise customers to define and design B2B business solutions, including workflow, governance, and program configuration needs.
  • Deep knowledge of design principles with experience applying them to complex business applications and high-frequency end-user workflows.
  • Demonstrated agility and bias toward action, with strong prioritization discipline and accountability for results.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Domain experience in recognition, employee engagement, HR tech, or workplace culture is a plus.
  • Four-year degree preferred; MBA or relevant advanced degree also a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product strategy, discovery, delivery, and adoption of core recognition capabilities, working closely with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering counterparts from concept through adoption.
  • Own the end-to-end recognition experience, including giving and receiving recognition, recognition moments/celebrations, social feed experiences, and recognition insights for employees and leaders.
  • Own nomination-based recognition experiences, including nomination creation, review/approval workflows, governance, and administrative controls that enable enterprise customers to run trusted, scalable programs.
  • Understand recognition and workplace culture market trends and customer needs by continually gathering insights from end users, customers, prospects, Sales, Customer Success/Service, culture researchers, and other stakeholders.
  • Set target outcomes with your team and use data to measure progress for enhancements and new offerings (e.g., increased recognition frequency and breadth, improved activation and repeat usage, higher quality of recognition content, improved feed engagement, and improved satisfaction with nomination/approval experiences).
  • Conduct discovery and experimentation to identify friction and unlock adoption across roles (employee, manager, executive sponsor, and admin) and contexts (mobile/desktop, global audiences, frontline/desk-based).
  • Create clear product requirements and near-term delivery forecasts; drive full product lifecycle planning from concept through end-of-life.
  • Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert both internally and externally.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions and mitigate risks related to value, usability, technical feasibility, and business viability.
  • Partner with go-to-market and customer-facing teams to drive successful launches and adoption (positioning, enablement, implementation guidance, and post-launch learning loops).
