Principal Product Manager

About the position

You will be part of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops product manager team focusing on enhancing and expanding modern device management, application management and policy enforcement capability across various cloud and on-prem virtualization platforms, as well as access devices. This is one of key ingredients to deliver Citrix solution securely with robust and zero trust security models.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision and roadmap in terms of technical capabilities and user experience
• Work with external customers and internal stakeholders to drive innovation to support Citrix DaaS/CVAD vision and to enable key sales targets
• Drive and be responsible for the product requirements process while working collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify, prioritize and validate technology, features, product direction and strategy
• Lead implementation for a defined subset or portion of end-to-end product strategies, track product development, and develop product launch plans
• Execute process and lifecycles, and clearly communicate to stakeholders throughout the product group organization
• Conduct market validation activities such as customer prospect interviews and market analysis as part of planning new features or offers
• Handle short-term focused market and customer research regarding product acceptance, adoption and success and integrate results directly into the product planning activities
• Manage large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience; or Master's degree with 8 years; or PhD with 5 years of experience
• Implements strategic goals
• Problems typically undefined and/or complex
• Experience with planning and management of product life cycle
• Experience documenting research findings, market analysis and product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Working experience in making pitches to wide ranging audiences, internal and external, via webinars, training sessions / seminars, and customer visits
• Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
