About The Position

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. The Principal PM - B2C Strategy, will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing Amazon Leo's satellite communication services. Key job responsibilities In this role, you will work directly with customers, and operational stakeholders to define Amazon Leo service offerings via expertly crafted working backwards, business requirements documents which can easily be translated into product and engineering deliverables. This role requires the ability to work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. The candidate must have strong business judgment, dive deep into data, have strong writing skills and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews. Candidates must be able to analyze and implement subscription lifecycle models with appropriate KPIs for different customer segments. The best candidates will have deep understanding of customer needs for modern telecommunication services. Candidates with demonstrated business and operational experience within high scale fixed, wireless and satellite telecommunications services targeting consumer and enterprise verticals will be preferred. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products

  • Candidates with demonstrated business and operational experience within high scale fixed, wireless and satellite telecommunications services targeting consumer and enterprise verticals will be preferred.

Benefits

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market.
  • Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
