Overall Purpose: Responsible for leading the strategy, development, bundling, execution, and lifecycle management of products and services with a focus on the Small and Mid-Market (SBMM). Ensures each product or bundle aligns with customer needs, competitive dynamics, and AT&T business objectives. Oversee business cases, financial impacts, and value propositions to deliver high quality solutions and maximize customer value. Supports products and services across Small Business, Mid-Market, large enterprise, and global business segments, with particular emphasis on integrated connectivity, mobility, and value-added service bundles designed for SBMM customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 7+ years of related product experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manages the full lifecycle of SBMM products and bundled offers from initial concept through development, launch, in‑market performance, and end‑of‑life, ensuring seamless transitions across all stages. Develops and evolves Small and Mid‑Market bundles that integrate wireline connectivity, broadband, mobility, security, and value‑added services to meet customer needs and competitive demands. Responsible for managing budgets, creating estimates, and driving capital funding requests to support product development. Coordinates closely with design, engineering, operations, sales, and marketing teams as products and bundles move into production and distribution. Continuously monitors performance and makes data‑driven recommendations based on customer behavior, competitive factors, attach‑rate trends, and financial results
  • Define and Document Requirements: Translates customer needs, operational insights, and technical requirements into clear product definitions, design documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Builds business cases that outline revenue potential, cost models, attach‑rate expectations, and competitive positioning for SBMM standalone products and bundled solutions. Identifies and prioritizes roadmap features that improve customer experience, streamline processes, or increase adoption within the Small and Mid‑Market segment. Ensures that requirements are fully documented and aligned with both market needs and internal operational capabilities.
  • Conduct Market Research and Analysis: Conducts in‑depth market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, SBMM customer segments, whitespace opportunities, and potential areas for product enhancement. Evaluates revenue and volume potential of SBMM bundles, including scenario modeling for attach rates and pricing sensitivity across mobility, wireline, and value‑added services. Uses customer insights, sales feedback, and product usage analytics to inform strategic decision‑making and lifecycle optimization. Applies market and segment findings to identify growth opportunities and influence long‑term product direction.
  • Develop and Maintain Product Roadmaps: Creates and maintains detailed roadmaps for SBMM products and bundled portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, customer requirements, and market opportunities. Drives coordination across wireline, mobility, security, and value‑added services to ensure cohesive, timely launches that align with broader customer experience. Produces service guides, product documentation, performance dashboards, and analytical reports to track outcomes and identify opportunities to grow revenue and margin. Leads cross‑functional initiatives that advance customer lifetime value, operational efficiency, and overall SBMM portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders and UX Design: Partners with Technology Development, Global Connectivity Management, UX Design, Contracting, Legal, Product Marketing, Pricing, and external technology partners to design and deliver integrated SBMM solutions. Collaborates with pricing teams to develop competitive and profitable strategies for standalone products and multimodal SBMM bundles across wireline, mobility, and value‑added services. Works closely with UX teams to ensure solutions reflect customer‑centric design principles and align with operational and technical constraints. Engages with vendors and external partners to negotiate improved cost structures and drive enhancements to product features, performance, and overall value.
