Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience
  • 2 or more years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FAR/DFAR flow-downs.
  • SAP experience.
  • Supply Chain experience.

Responsibilities

  • Order book management for a multitude of suppliers you will be responsible for
  • Raise & amend purchase/scheduled orders.
  • Resolve invoice queries and issue RFQs.
  • Provide critical updates/delivery status to key internal stakeholders through meeting and use of escalation file.
  • Engage with functions outside of supply chain (Finance, Engineering, Operations, programs etc.) to ensure a timely resolution of supply chain issues.
  • Keeping escalation files updated with key current information for stakeholders to relay and act accordingly.
  • Review personal internal stats (Metrics) on various aspects of the job to analyze and action.
  • Action focused, driven to deliver concrete and sustainable results.
  • Assist the Account Manager on account reviews and projects in relation to your suppliers.
  • Be proactive to mitigate and minimize supply chain risks, to prevent critical line stops.
  • Work with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams and engineering to ensure that new requirements and amendments are quickly identified and that supply solutions are in place to meet project timescales.
  • Work with account managers and commodity managers on supplier strategy in-line with business requirements
  • Negotiate with and manage cost for suppliers in support of Commodity strategy and business financial performance as well as cost reduction targets.
  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews and action outcomes supporting change management and transfer programs.
  • Understanding suppliers sub cons and sub suppliers to follow the production path and assist in improvements.
  • Approximately 10% travel domestically and internationally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
