About The Position

Bachelor's degree in Engineering Minimum of 7 years of professional engineering experience relevant to this role, or minimum of 6 years of professional engineering experience relevant to this role with an advanced degree Hands-on mechanical aptitude Demonstrated engineering fundamentals (LEAN, DFM, etc) Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technically demanding environment Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Prior experience as a technical lead on team projects Strong written and verbal communication skills Prior experience in medical device industry or similar highly-regulated industry Experience with Process Verification and Validation Expertise in Operations Open to travel (domestic or international) up to 15% of time Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering Advanced degree in Engineering Ability to influence without authority, including leading teams using a growth mindset Prior experience as a technical lead and/or core team member, and project management experience Demonstrated use of Design for Six Sigma tools (Design of Experiments, problem solving) Highly motivated individual that can independently drive deliverables to completion through collaboration among team members Demonstrated ability to develop and drive innovative solutions into processes and products Experience developing and characterizing various types of processes Demonstrated understanding and usage of statistics to drive improvements; proficiency in Minitab Demonstrated ability to develop equipment/fixtures/tooling from concept to production Medical device design experience; new product development Demonstrated understanding of problem solving and root cause investigations Troubleshooting in combination with product yield and performance Experience with mechanical design (CAD/SolidWorks) Ability to schedule out timelines with specific milestones to achieve and demonstrated success
