About The Position

This role provides strategic leadership and oversight of enterprise-level technology platforms and foundational capabilities, ensuring investments are prioritized, sequenced, and aligned to long-term business objectives. The Principal Portfolio Manager, Enterprise operates across identity systems, infrastructure, data and AI platforms, and design systems to provide portfolio visibility, manage trade-offs, and enable executive decision-making. You will partner with engineering, product, data, finance, and strategy leaders to balance modernization, scalability, reliability, and innovation while translating complex technical initiatives into clear, actionable narratives. This position thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, requiring strong strategic thinking, communication, and influencing skills to drive portfolio coherence and execution clarity.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio management, product operations, technology strategy, or enterprise platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across large-scale, multi-team technical environments.
  • Strong technical fluency with understanding of architecture, platform modernization, data ecosystems, and engineering trade-offs.
  • Proven ability to influence senior engineering and executive leaders in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional systems thinking, with the ability to identify interdependencies and second-order impacts.
  • Strong executive communication skills, capable of translating technical complexity into clear, business-aligned decisions.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and shaping clarity across technical domains.

Responsibilities

  • Own the enterprise portfolio narrative across shared platforms, including identity, infrastructure, data/AI, and design foundations.
  • Maintain a multi-year portfolio outlook reflecting modernization, lifecycle management, scalability goals, and cross-platform sequencing.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to evaluate, prioritize, and sequence foundational investments based on business impact and technical trade-offs.
  • Provide visibility into cross-platform dependencies, systemic risks, and architectural constraints.
  • Translate complex portfolio information into executive-ready narratives to support planning, funding, and investment decisions.
  • Improve portfolio governance, intake processes, and investment clarity across enterprise platforms.
  • Make trade-offs explicit, balancing reliability, innovation, technical debt reduction, and cost efficiency.
