About The Position

The Google Global Infrastructure and Energy (GIE) team is responsible for planning, developing, and operating the physical infrastructure that powers Google. This includes everything from data centers and networking to energy and site selection. Our mission is to deliver reliable and scalable infrastructure whenever and wherever Google needs it. As the Principal Negotiator, Energy Strategic Partnerships, Americas, you will be a senior leader responsible for developing and executing the partnership strategy for Google's energy portfolio and its integration with the company's data center needs. You will directly and indirectly lead a team responsible for originating, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships with utilities, energy companies, and other key players in the energy ecosystem. This is a highly strategic role where you'll drive the creation of innovative partnership structures and investment vehicles to accelerate the deployment of energy generation, transmission, and other energy products to support the growth of Google's data center fleet. Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.
