GE Appliances’ National Account Sales Manager, Air & Water Solutions Hospitality is responsible for managing a territory of distributor and direct customers in the Air & Water Solutions’ Hospitality segment. Responsibilities include the coordination of program and operational requirements, expansion into new product categories, sales/growth initiatives and general customer support. Working collaboratively with the inside sales team, the candidate will manage all aspects of the customer experience, increase sales to achieve targets, and demonstrate superior teamwork with inside sales managers and other GE Appliance team members to execute a unified national account, customer-specific sales growth plan. Position located in the South Central or Southwest regions of the United States with convenient access to a major airport for business related travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience
  • Seven (7) years sales experience
  • Effective communicator, both written & verbal
  • Demonstrated effective negotiation and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous industry sales experience, with focus on distributor and direct hospitality customers; or relevant transferable skills from similar industries or national account type duties
  • Previous experience with PTAC/ VTAC and/or kitchen appliances sold to distributors and/ or direct in the hospitality segment
  • Experience in developing and implementing complex sales initiatives and program plans
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, management, and peers. Customer relationships include all levels within assigned customers’ organization including but not limited to C-suite senior management, branch/field management & sales teams
  • A natural team-player with a collaborative style
  • Tenacity to never give up and always seek ways to win
  • Preferable with convenient access to a major airport

Responsibilities

  • Execute and achieve all sales and margin operating plans
  • Sell all applicable GE Appliances Air & Water products to assigned Hospitality accounts
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow sales to assigned Hospitality accounts
  • Develop customer sales initiatives, programs and/or logistics strategies to drive profitable sales growth
  • Provide project quotes when necessary to ensure winning business
  • Negotiate pricing and terms & conditions for new customer agreements and Purchase Orders
  • Prepare and deliver training, and/or coordinate any relevant product presentations that drive the GE Appliances value story
  • Track and be accountable for sales metrics with reporting and analysis tools
  • Resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner, establish credibility with internal and external customers or co-workers
  • Effectively collaborate and work with the Inside Sales and cross functional teams
  • Travel required
