Requirements

8+ years of experience in software development
5+ years of experience in architecting/designing large scale services / applications
Experience developing high traffic/throughput, distributed, scalable, multi-node systems
Proficiency with Java/Python/C++ and Object Oriented programming
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of cloud computing
Experience developing service oriented systems, REST, python
Experience building observability services

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Principal Member of Technical Staff who will work with key stakeholders to understand their use cases and requirements and lead architecture and design working with Exadata Cloud Services team.
You should be comfortable at building complex distributed systems involving complex workflows, building data pipelines, and analytics for real time processing.
Prior experience in coding is required.
You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
You should be comfortable in leveraging AI/ML techniques to drive innovation in cloud observability.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
