About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Engineering, or related technical field.
10+ years of experience in project controls (or 15+ years without a degree).
Proven expertise with EVMS, schedule risk analysis, and cost forecasting.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience managing complex data sets.
Proficiency with Primavera P6 EPPM, Microsoft Project, and ERP systems such as NetSuite.
Experience in PMO or large project management environments.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DOE/NRC Q-Clearance (or active clearance preferred).
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead through influence.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or related discipline.
PMI or AACE certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP, AACE-PSP, AACE-EVP).
Experience supporting large CAPEX or utility projects.
Background in nuclear, energy, or high-tech industrial projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of project control systems for major capital and R&D projects.
Manage forecasting, scheduling, variance analysis, cost alignment, and performance reporting.
Develop and maintain earned value management (EVMS), risk models, and change control processes.
Build and analyze schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and related tools.
Translate complex project data into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
Conduct cost analysis, unit cost development, burn rate tracking, and trend reporting.
Collaborate across engineering, finance, and operations to ensure alignment with project goals.
Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
Mentor others in project controls methodology and tools.
Perform other duties as assigned to support overall project success.
