About The Position

TO LEVEL LOAD THE PRODUCTION SCHEDULE AS EFFICIENTLY AS POSSIBLE CONSIDERING CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS, MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES AND MATERIAL AVAILABILITY. MANAGE COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN SALES, MANUFACTURING AND PURCHASING AND EFFECTIVELY SCHEDULE CUSTOMER ORDERS IN PRODUCTION. Review incoming orders and level load the production schedule based on scheduling constraints and parameters that have been identified. Provide updated scheduling information to manufacturing as required. Respond to sales inquiries, less than lead time order requests and order change requests quoting lead times and ship dates based on availability of materials, resources and capacity. Communicate with sales, manufacturing and purchasing as required to complete responsibilities of this role. Update scheduling information in team center as required to support new products and product changes. Approach problems and people with an open mind and problem solving, “customer first” attitude. Compiling reports and meeting deadlines Coordinating and conducting meetings in a professional manner. Back up other scheduling areas as needed. Escalate concerns to Master Scheduler MGR.

Requirements

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Teamcenter, etc.) or production scheduling software preferred
