About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or related discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or materials development.
  • Strong background in polymer engineering.
  • Experience with material specifications and supplier qualification processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with materials testing and characterization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive materials innovation by exploring new polymers, testing novel formulations, and guiding material selection to support cutting‑edge products.
  • Lead advanced manufacturing initiatives—bringing in new technologies, validating equipment, and helping evolve Intek’s production capabilities.
  • Solve complex technical challenges through hands‑on materials testing, characterization, and process troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate across teams and with suppliers to source, qualify, and integrate innovative or sustainable materials into production.
  • Establish standards and documentation that ensure materials and processes are fully understood and ready for scale‑up.
