As a Principal Logistics Specialist, you will contribute to a fast-paced, innovative team with responsibility to ensure Government, Customer, and Raytheon owned property is efficiently managed and in compliance with current business processes, contract requirements, regulations, and sound business practices across the organization. The role will administer and/or maintain aspects of the Property Management System including support of multiple property lifecycle areas (i.e., receiving, identification, utilization, physical inventory, relief of stewardship, and contract closure). This position requires working on assignments as a member of our property team to perform and support research, audits, analysis, and system transactions by creating, reviewing, approving, and correcting property records, reports, and systems.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience.
  • Experience with either Property, Logistics, and or Supply Chain.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • National Property Management Association, CPPS certification or able to obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM), cPDM, and asset tracking systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-Starter that requires minimal supervision, as well as the ability to manage priorities.
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers, customers, and team members.
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements and Sarbanes Oxley.

Responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in managing government, customer, and company property requirements at the Tewksbury facility; providing direction and guidance to other business functions.
  • Adapt quickly to changing situations and urgent requests to ensure that business needs are met.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with program managers, directors, functional leadership, customer representatives and government agencies related to property activities.
  • Skilled in team building, conflict resolution and relationship management to create an effective partnering environment that includes credibility, respect, and trust.
  • Responsibility for creating, evaluating, and presenting to management leading and lagging metrics that may drive and or influence the property system.
  • Must be able to lift (Knees to shoulders), 28 pounds (2-handed), 12 pounds (1-handed) or 2-handed lifting below knee or above shoulder, 18 pounds.
