Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of experience in LAN switch administration, with hands-on expertise maintaining inventories, IOS configurations, and spare equipment in government or large enterprise networks
Proven track record developing prioritized restoration lists, network diagrams, and SOPs for operational efficiency and compliance
Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and transferable)
Strong knowledge of federal network standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, DISA guidelines) and ITIL practices for service configuration and operations
Proficiency in Cisco IOS, network diagramming tools, and inventory management systems (e.g., SolarWinds, NetBox)
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills for documentation and team collaboration
Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness

Nice To Haves

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Data Center certification
Experience supporting DoD or large federal LAN environments, including hybrid cloud integrations and rapid restoration planning
ITIL 4 Foundation or higher certification, with focus on service asset and configuration management
Background in automation scripting (e.g., Python for config backups) and tools for network visualization
Master's degree in a relevant field or additional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+)
