About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the individual work streams within the SAP Modernization Program, from initiation through completion. This role involves managing project budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure successful delivery that meets business objectives. Project Managers apply project management principles and IT processes to lead projects of varying complexity, facilitating collaboration between leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to align strategies and achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with at least 8 years of relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Certification.
  • MBA.
  • Experience on Large Scale Transformation Technology Program.
  • SAP Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of and experience with IT project management methodologies, requirements management, quality assurance and IT processes from project inception to successful implementation.
  • Understanding of financial principles including experience with project financial budgeting and planning.
  • Is able to work with project team to perform WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) Activities for complex projects with clear durations and dependencies.
  • Strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills.
  • Effective presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
  • Experience managing outsourced vendors (on and off shore).
  • Strong judgment and analytical ability.
  • Leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to foster working relationships with the team, IT Management and functional departments.
  • General understanding of technology platforms and ability to explain technical concepts to the business users in the context of business requirements.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple projects exceeding $10M in value.
  • Ability to identify and quantify risks and subsequent impacts to project success.
  • Successfully champions the EPMO Stage Gate Process across the organization to illustrate value and purpose of the process linking to project success.
