Put your passion, drive and expertise to work with the world’s cloud security leader. We are looking for a Principal IAM Systems Engineer to join our G&A team. This role is hybrid and based in our San Jose, CA office three days a week. Reporting to the Director, Identity and Access Management, you will be responsible for:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting IAM systems, and 4+ years of software development experience
  • Expertise in IAM platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, with in-depth knowledge of RBAC, MFA, and protocols like OAuth2 and SAML
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST
  • U.S. citizenship due to the nature of the customers assigned to this role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience evaluating and implementing PAM solutions including integrations
  • Certifications in IAM or Security such as CISSP or Okta Certified Consultant
  • Direct experience in IAM integrations and migrations related to M&A activities

Responsibilities

  • Leading and implementing architecture, automation, and operations of FedRAMP IAM services, ensuring strict adherence to RBAC models and compliance requirements
  • Driving IAM engineering initiatives including identity proofing workflows and zero-trust aligned access patterns
  • Managing migration activities related to mergers and acquisitions for integration into IAM systems
  • Leading the strategy and implementation of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions including integrations and rollout
  • Participating in on-call rotations and audits to address IAM incidents and ensure regulatory compliance
