Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR PhD with 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive collaborative design and development of medical devices; mobile apps, insulin pumps and glucose sensors
• Drive collaborative design and development of features in apps connected to cloud data systems with machine learning
• Perform technical analysis such as functional analysis, timeline analysis, and trade studies
• Develop system concepts, capture user needs, and create use cases or user stories
• Develop and manage multiple levels of requirements
• Develop and document interface designs and protocols
• Define, plan, and conduct formal technical design and test reviews
• Guide, develop, and review verification strategies, test designs, test tools, planned execution and documentation
• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
