THE ROLE: The Principal I, Employee Technology Experience, is a senior technical leader in IT, passionate about delivering expert mentorship and hands-on support for complex end user solutions. This role oversees the development and implementation of IT initiatives, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and sets technical standards. The position mentors staff, drives improvements, and bridges technical concepts with user needs to develop secure, productive technology environments. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: Serve as the technical lead, ensuring successful delivery of major initiatives or critical segments of work. Review team deliverables and provide expert mentor in teamwork and end user services. Mentor team members to enhance their application of engineering principles. Develop and maintain the group’s standard processes, encouraging continuous improvement. Apply Agile methodologies to collaborate, refine, and incrementally release design solutions. Conduct ongoing research on industry trends and standard processes, leveraging market insights to inform strategy. Partner with internal stakeholders to define requirements and drive project evaluation and outcomes. Proactively escalate risks and resolve issues to support timely and effective team delivery. Promote a positive, collaborative, and encouraging team culture to inspire impactful work. Ensure the team produces high-quality, reliable, and viable products by benchmarking against industry standards and developing a technology roadmap.
