About The Position

In this role, you will lead the design and development of advanced electronic hardware across digital, analog, and power domains, delivering solutions that meet high-performance, reliability, and compliance standards. You will work on complex projects involving microprocessors, DSPs, FPGA/CPLD design, and high-speed interfaces, applying both creativity and technical expertise to solve challenging problems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will influence architecture, prototyping, and system integration, ensuring products meet customer requirements and industry standards. This position offers the chance to contribute to innovative technologies in sectors including aerospace, telecommunications, medical, automotive, and satellite communications, while working in a remote-first, highly skilled engineering environment.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in electronic hardware design.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Expertise in tools such as Siemens DxDesigner (preferred), Altium, and Xpedition-DxDesigner.
  • Proven experience applying project management and systems engineering methodologies for complex electronics projects.
  • Deep understanding of compliance, safety, and industry-specific standards.
  • Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and direction.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design scope and deliverables independently with creativity and technical expertise.
  • Develop functional design specifications for complex electronic systems.
  • Perform circuit design across digital, analog, and power domains; work with interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, USB, CSI, DSI, and more.
  • Lead schematic capture, layout review, and design guidance.
  • Conduct signal and power integrity analysis, FPGA/CPLD design, and verification using tools like Verilog, VHDL, ModelSim, Xilinx, and Altera.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate performance and reliability.
  • Prototype bring-up and system integration while ensuring compliance with EMC/CE/UL standards.
  • Contribute to software and firmware development as required.
