About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Principal Program Manager, Strategic Planning to join the Applied AI Solutions GTM acceleration team and work closely with senior leaders to ensure organizational alignment and achievement of strategic goals. This role will be pivotal in driving operational excellence, implementing AI-driven workflows, and ensuring seamless execution of our rhythm of business while serving as a force multiplier for leadership. This function will accelerate the Applied AI Solutions GTM strategy and growth through strategic initiatives that transform our organizational capability and operational excellence. You will serve as the organizational "connective tissue," synthesizing insights and aligning business rhythms across organizations. This position requires a strong understanding of internal AWS business dynamics and planning processes, the ability to make data-driven decisions, and a bias for action to implement strategies that enhance performance with speed. You will anticipate organizational needs 2-3 quarters ahead, proactively preparing leadership for upcoming decisions through strategic foresight and scenario planning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of program or project management experience
- 10+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Nice To Haves
- MBA, or Master's degree
- Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level
- 7+ years of change management experience
