About The Position

The Principal, Growth is a senior growth leader responsible for building and executing capture and growth strategies that expand federal technology services across DoD, DHS, and Civilian customers. This role drives pipeline creation and leads major pursuits, partners with delivery and solution leaders to shape differentiated offerings and helps build the team and operating cadence required for sustained growth. The Growth Principal is a hands-on leader with strong executive presence and a “builder” mindset. Location: Tysons Corner, VA or Tulsa, OK (hybrid/regular in-person engagement expected) Travel: As needed for customer engagement, partners, and capture activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
  • 12–18+ years in federal technology services, business development, capture, consulting, and/or growth leadership.
  • Demonstrated success leading large pursuits and scaling growth across multiple federal customers.
  • Broad federal customer exposure (DoD + DHS + Civilian); not niche-focused.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or leading practice buildouts (new offerings, new markets, partner ecosystems).
  • Familiarity with P&L ownership, forecasting, and growth KPI management.
  • Clearance is a plus (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a forward-looking pipeline aligned to strategic priorities and technology offerings.
  • Identify market needs, whitespace opportunities, and capability gaps to drive growth plans.
  • Support practice diversification across agencies and mission sets to avoid over-concentration.
  • Lead end-to-end capture efforts: shaping, customer engagement, teaming, win strategy, proposal development, and color reviews.
  • Drive disciplined capture governance, timelines, and accountability across pursuit teams.
  • Partner with pricing and operations to develop competitive, executable solutions.
  • Work with architects and delivery leaders to shape modern offerings across cloud, cyber, AI/ML, data, and software engineering.
  • Contribute to offering roadmaps, partner strategies, and reusable solution accelerators.
  • Help build and mentor a high-performing BD/capture/solutioning bench.
  • Establish consistent rhythms for pipeline reviews, capture reviews, and performance tracking.
  • Promote a culture of urgency, collaboration, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with government customers, primes, and technology partners.
  • Represent the company with credibility and professionalism in executive-level settings.
