About The Position

Prime Video (PV) is changing the way millions of customers enjoy video. Prime
Video delivers premium content to customers through purchase and rental of
movies and TV shows, unlimited on- demand streaming through Amazon Prime
subscriptions, add-on channels including AppleTV, Paramount+, and HBO, and live
events broadcasts including NFL Thursday Night Football and NBA.

We are seeking a Principal Finance Manager to work closely with leaders of the
Prime Video Tech and Product organizations to develop operational and financial
analysis for the Prime Video technology portfolio including all AWS and 3rd
party vendor spend.

This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who is passionate about
technology, video entertainment, and looking for a challenge in a high growth
environment. This critical role requires a self-starter with strong business
modeling skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

• 10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes
• Experience with cloud, server or infrastructure technologies and business models
• Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)

Responsibilities

• Partner with PV Tech leaders to develop financial plans and analyses for the Prime Video tech stack. Own OP planning processes, MBRs and QBRs, headcount planning, and ad hoc reporting
• Manage comprehensive financial models to plan all components of a global tech stack and ensure accurate allocations and visibility for country teams
• Partner with Prime Video and Corporate FP&A and Financial Systems teams to maintain data integrity and optimize reporting processes for scalability
• Evaluate business cases and financial returns for GenAI investments across Prime Video Tech, developing frameworks to measure ROI and ensure alignment with strategic priorities
• Partner with Tech and Product leaders to identify cost optimization opportunities across AWS services and third-party vendors, driving efficiency initiatives that reduce infrastructure spend while maintaining service quality
• Lead long-range financial planning for technology infrastructure investments, developing multi- year forecasts that align with Prime Video's strategic roadmap and growth objectives Process Innovation & Leadership
• Manage Tech and Product organization annual Goals mechanism to drive measurable performance in a continually evolving business
• Champion process automation and innovation within the finance function, leveraging AI tools and advanced analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and reduce manual reporting cycles
