About The Position

As a Principal Enterprise Architect, you will provide support at the enterprise level for IT infrastructure. This role will be expected to support existing IT solutions and to implement new IT solutions that adhere to company standards. The successful candidate is a self-motivated and passionate individual who's ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work making things happen. The ideal candidate will possess advanced troubleshooting skills, demonstrate effective communication skills, and be goal oriented. Candidate should be self-motivated and ready to dive right in. Some weekend and/or after-hours work to include participation in On-Call rotation may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 10 years related experience.
  • Strong administrative experience of Windows and/or Linux.
  • Familiarity with the management of Various Hypervisors in an Enterprise Environment. Including Hyper-V, VMware, Nutanix or others.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with industry data security, privacy standards, relevant laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstratable technical understanding of network protocols and concepts.
  • Demonstratable technical understanding of server & virtualization technologies.
  • Demonstratable proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • Azure, Google or AWS Experience.
  • Kubernetes Experience
  • Very strong Linux Experience.
  • Automation experience in one or more automation languages (Ansible, PowerShell, Python etc).
  • Working understanding of Backup Technologies & Products.
  • Knowledge of various Security hardening frameworks. I.e. NIST, CIS, ENISA, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a project lead for new initiatives.
  • Manage the Lennox Infrastructure environments. Including but not limited too; Monitoring, Administration, Upgrading/Patching, Securing the various Veeam/Hypervisors/Cisco UCS/Pure Storage environments.
  • Mentor others and bring up the skills of others on the team.
  • Develop and Deploy Automation workflows to enhance day to day or repeatable tasks as needed.
  • Drive new projects & initiatives to completion.
  • Create documentation such as architectural diagrams, user instructions, IT procedures.
  • Act as an escalation point for other team members and other teams regarding issues or questions that arise.
  • Participate in cross functional meetings with other teams within the organization.
  • Assist with adhering to compliance requirements.
  • Create and deliver executive/business level presentations.
  • Troubleshoot and escalated service impacting issues.
  • Participate in DR Exercises as needed.
  • Participate in and follow the change control process.
