Northrop Grumman Defense Systems currently has an opening for a Principal Systems Engineer. This position will be in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. The Ground Systems Integration - Ground Infrastructure & Sustainment team is looking for a driven Systems Engineer to support the development of Infrastructure Design Systems Engineering (IDSE) specifications, architecture, and related SE Product's development. The IDSE Team is charged with developing the systems engineering artifacts that inform the design of the physical buildings and infrastructure within the Weapon System. IDSE is full of exciting and meaningful challenges that require creative Systems Engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years' experience; 3 years' experience with a Masters' degree in STEM; or 0 years' experience with a PhD.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance
  • 1 year of experience with DOORs and Cameo.
  • 1 year of experience writing verification attributes.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or systems engineering
  • Experience with Systems Engineering Principles/Practices
  • Experience decomposing and deriving higher level requirements
  • Experience with verification development
  • Understanding of Federal, State and Local codes applicable to facilities scope
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering V
