About The Position

Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) is a global semiconductor leader focused on bridging physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge. ADI develops solutions combining analog, digital, and software technologies for digitized factories, mobility, digital healthcare, climate change initiatives, and global connectivity. With over $9 billion in revenue in FY24 and approximately 24,000 employees worldwide, ADI aims to keep innovators 'Ahead of What's Possible'. The Digital Business Unit at ADI is seeking a Principal Wireless IC System Architect to join its R&D team. This role involves enabling the next generation of intelligent RF/wireless communication products, leading the development of RF/wireless design for ADI’s medical, energy, and embedded security ICs. The architect will be involved in all phases of RF SOC product development, from definition to design and software implementation, and will collaborate with the business team on customer support and acquisition. The position requires a strong understanding of communication theories, DSP concepts, wireless transceiver design, and experience in modern wireless system architecture design, modeling, and simulation.

Requirements

  • MSEE degree with 10+ years or Ph.D. degree with 7+ years of industry experience in Wireless PHY design and modeling (Wireless Communication Network).
  • 10+ years of system-level experience on wireless transceiver functional blocks such as DPD, AGC, and CFO in wireless system design.
  • Must have strong background in DSP and Communication Theory.
  • Deep understanding of wireless system, features, performance and their trade-off.
  • Solid understanding of CMOS RF transceiver architectures for modern communication systems.
  • Solid programming experience with Matlab/C/Python for behavioral modeling and system level simulation.
  • Strong knowledge of RF/analog circuit simulation tools and testing techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of communication theories, DSP concepts, and wireless transceiver design.
  • Experience in modern wireless system architecture design, system/behavior level modeling, and simulation for trade-off analysis and performance evaluation.
