About The Position

The Principal Software Engineer works with a team of other software engineers, network and systems engineers to design, implement, and deploy software which meet customer's requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available environments The Principal Software Engineer at times leads or at a minimum is an active participant in architecture and design of various software components focused on creating applications that leverage technologies such as virtualization, micro services, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms and technologies. They work on technical assignments that are difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. They determine methods and procedures on new assignments and work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. They understand the implications of their work and make recommendations for solutions. They normally receive little instruction on daily work, and only require general instructions on newly introduced assignments. At times, they may be an informal team leader. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Engineering (Required)
• 7-10 years Technical engineering experience. (Required)
• Work with Generative AI technologies to build and integrate advanced AI functionalities.
• Implement and manage micro-services architecture to ensure scalability and flexibility of AI solutions.
• Develop APIs to interact with Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI components.
• Communication (Required)

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Cloud services(Azure preferred) and platform knowledge
• Experience with developing and deploying applications in Kubernetes
• Proficiency in implementing and managing micro-services architecture for scalable solutions.
• Extensive experience in full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Strong understanding of software quality and scalability principles.
• Ability to innovate and optimize solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Expected to supervise base and associate level engineers as needed.
• Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Expected to independently develop a full software stack.
• Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology is expected.
• Interact with system engineers to define system requirement and/or necessary requirements for automation.
• Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which utilize new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service.
• Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives.
• Understands the creation of company IPR.
• Collaborates with technical teams and utilizes system expertise to deliver technical solutions.
• Continuously learns and teaches others existing and new technologies.
• Contributes to the development of others through mentoring or in house workshops and learning sessions.
• Contributes to new and existing technology options that support business goals.
• Understands current technology that supports business goals.
