As a Principal/Engineer Mission Assurance - Level 2 or 3, your role in Chandler, AZ will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Ready to join forces with our visionary team? In this job, you will: Define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements. Assess program performance and risks and determine resources to ensure mission assurance. Due to the sensitive nature of our work this is a fully on-site position; hybrid or remote work is not available. Relocation is not available for this role. This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering +5 years of experience; Masters Degree + 3 years of experience; PhD + 1 years of experience
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
  • Familiarity with customer and internal requirements implementation and flow-down
  • Interdepartmental collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience developing and working to an AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Demonstrated skill with process improvement projects
  • Strong technical writing skills

Nice To Haves

  • Secret Clearance
  • Experience working in the Aerospace industry
  • Extensive experience with RCCA analysis, investigation, and implementation
  • Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) as customer base
  • Experience with MDA Assurance Provisions (MAP) and MDA Parts, Materials, and Processes Mission Assurance Plan (PMAP)
  • Experience generating QMS command media
  • Team leadership experience
  • Ability to Mentor/train new hires
