Responsible for the development, oversight, and ownership of the Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA) specific subject area standardization, alignment, and programs related to CSA, design, construction, operations, and maintenance of CSA Facilities systems in support of Semiconductor Manufacturing Sites and Projects across the Micron Global Manufacturing Network. Support the Facilities Teams and Manufacturing sites across the network as a domain expert through all CSA related design, construction, installation, start-up, operations and maintenance requirements of the field specific systems, and ensure environmental, safety, regulatory, and code compliance. Develop and Own Micron CSA Technical Specifications and Standards. Provide technical direction on Micron's requirements to outside A&E firms during Project concept and detailed design phases, work with site groups, other engineering teams, local municipalities/utilities, trade contractors, and other project collaborators. Perform regular field inspections during construction and supervise the project to ensure that it is within agreed scope, schedule and budget and that the work is being performed in accordance with design intent. Understand basic Uniform Building Code (or IBC) applications and resolve compliance with issues related to exiting, occupancy and building types. Possess experience in design of raised floor, demountable walls and ceiling grid systems for clean rooms. Ensure constructability in challenging environments in or near operating buildings without interruptions. Participate in formal 3D plant model reviews. May telecommute part time. Position requires 10% domestic and international travel. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field followed by 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation.
