Principal Disability Analyst will work with St. Mary’s, Saint Francis, and Oakland Benioff Children’s hospitals to conduct a needs analysis to identify gaps, barriers, and opportunities regarding the interactive process for non-occupational injuries and illnesses in order to control the costs of disability, reduce lost time, and balance the business needs of UCSF and the needs of staff with disabilities. This position conducts managerial training, creates resources and tools, and assists in the development of modified and alternate duty positions. This position serves as a management liaison and as a direct service provider to the employees and departments in the interactive process and reasonable accommodation. This position also serves as a consultant to LOA Representatives, Ergonomics, Labor and Employee Relations, and other HR representatives on state and federal disability laws (FEHA, ADA, PWFA, EEOC). Background and four (4) years’ experience in disability management and/or human resources in a large organization are crucial to success in this role. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $111,900 - $167,900 (Annual Rate).
