Requirements

• 12+ years experience in product or service design, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor’s with 10+ years, Master’s with 8+ years, Doctorate with 6+ years).
• Proven experience shipping production-ready products and features.
• Hands-on expertise with front-end technologies such as React, CSS, HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and design systems.
• Experience in design engineering, front-end engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong communication skills to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate long-term technical and design vision for key product experiences.
• Lead high-impact projects from concept to production, shipping production-ready features with attention to design, engineering quality, and user needs.
• Drive architectural decisions, guide cross-team implementation, and ensure adherence to technical and design standards.
• Advance design systems, create reusable components, and champion accessibility (WCAG), performance, and maintainability.
• Mentor design engineers and cross-functional partners on technical craft, execution practices, and user-centered design.
• Collaborate with product, platform engineering, and design teams to align on strategy, roadmaps, and delivery priorities.
• Influence cross-team processes to improve planning, predictability, and execution outcomes.
