About the position
The Principal Data Product Manager at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is responsible for overseeing product strategy, execution, and adoption of large-scale digital solutions that support various stakeholders including employees, clinicians, researchers, and health consumers. This role involves leading complex initiatives, managing a portfolio of data product offerings, and ensuring alignment with business goals through collaboration with business leaders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee product strategy, execution, and adoption for large scale digital solutions.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to align data product strategy with overall business goals.
- Translate business priorities into actionable use cases and executable plans.
- Manage the data product roadmap from initiation and planning to delivery and adoption.
- Ensure accountability for product execution and successful launch activities.
- Validate data product ideas and measure the business impact of data product initiatives.
- Understand the market and competitive landscape for data products.
- Engage with partners to resolve conflicts and make informed decisions on trade-offs.
- Drive continuous improvement of team workflows in key areas such as agile development and analytics.
Requirements
- 7+ years of data product management experience.
- Experience with analytic data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir).
- Proven experience working in an Agile environment; SAFe certification is a plus.
- Experience with data product solutions and data lake houses in a distributed hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of data ingestion, curation, and delivery/consumption approaches.
- Knowledge of data governance and data science is a plus.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and a proven track record of execution.

Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $146,100 - $241,100.
- Hybrid work schedule with onsite requirements on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
