About The Position

The Principal, Data Center Telecommunications Infrastructure Delivery (IC5) is a senior individual contributor responsible for the technical and commercial delivery oversight of low-voltage systems across some of OCI’s largest data center campuses. This role blends deep domain expertise with execution leadership to ensure bulk fiber, structured cabling, and network telecom construction, delivered by colocation providers and installation partners; meets OCI’s global standards, and is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. Reporting to the Vice President of Data Center Delivery, you own delivery excellence end-to-end: design coordination and review, installation execution oversight, change order management, cost/schedule tracking, testing/commissioning readiness, certification, and turnover. You lead executive-level site walks, validate that construction aligns to owner design intent and applicable industry standards, and drive robust QA/QC programs across all low-voltage activities. You also oversee the creation, review, and maintenance of critical delivery documentation, including design review packages, commissioning plans, acceptance criteria, and issue/problem-resolution papers. As the primary point of contact between OCI and colocation providers and cabling partners, you set clear accountability, escalate risks early, and drive cross-functional alignment to resolve delivery blockers. You participate in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing performance management for contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contract terms and adherence to approved designs and specifications. You continuously identify systemic gaps in risk identification and mitigation, and lead organization-wide initiatives that improve consistency, efficiency, predictability, and quality across programs—supporting rack-level deployments that include networking and structured cabling (and associated infrastructure interfaces required for GPU-ready buildouts).
