About The Position

The Principal Consultant plays a critical role in delivering high-impact consulting services to Denali clients. This role involves understanding client business needs, designing and implementing solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery. The Principal Consultant will work closely with clients to uncover business needs, deliver results, and expand the firm's footprint through outstanding client service and sales pursuit delivery.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years’ experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional consulting experience
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of business strategy, project management, and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer and software skills (MS Outlook/Excel/Word, etc.)
  • Comfortable performing in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
  • Excellent customer service delivery and organizational skills
  • Very strong problem-solving skills (creative)
  • Self-directed; ability to communicate findings, make recommendations and facilitate change
  • Knowledge of IT hardware terminology
  • Ability to review current processes and procedures with a view to enhancing overall customer service (turnaround times, cost prevention, improve SLAs)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience consulting in the Teleco Industry
  • Knowledge of or experience with the Broadband Forum, RDK, and other Fixed Wireless standards
  • Supervising or managing field technicians or engineers

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate ideation workshops with key stakeholders to explore new opportunities and generate innovative solutions
  • Develop comprehensive business cases by assessing market opportunities, estimating potential ROI, and aligning proposed initiatives with strategic priorities
  • Design and deliver organizational design and operating model programs and projects
  • Lead project teams to successfully deliver programs and projects for clients
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and regularly engage with senior/executive client stakeholders
  • Shape and lead the development of pursuits to win new project work and Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Continuously expand knowledge of the industries and clients served
  • Manage a team of consultants, conduct performance management responsibilities, and ensure team members are utilized on projects that expand their skills and experience
  • Drive, manage, and report on contract performance standards and client measurements, including defined SLAs and other performance metrics
  • Forecast and manage resource requirements, including identifying staffing levels, skill mix, and operational processes to support staffing for managed service delivery
  • Coordinate delivery activities and act as the escalation point for issues pertaining to service delivery and projects
  • Understand and manage the budget and financial performance of service accounts
  • Ensure communication flows properly between various parties associated with a given project and the customer
  • Drive and manage service quality and improvement of service delivery processes
  • Participate in account planning and strategy
  • Ensure that delivery team resources are empowered with the tools and support they need to be successful within cross-functional projects
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals, or implementation
  • Provide operational reports and updates to T-Mobile and Denali leadership, highlighting project status, achievements, and areas for improvement
