About The Position

SharkNinja is a global product design and technology company, with a diversified portfolio of 5-star rated lifestyle solutions that positively impact people’s lives in homes around the world. Powered by two trusted, global brands, Shark and Ninja, the company has a proven track record of bringing disruptive innovation to market and developing one consumer product after another has allowed SharkNinja to enter multiple product categories, driving significant growth and market share gains. Headquartered in Needham, Massachusetts with more than 4,100 associates, the company’s products are sold at key retailers, online and offline, and through distributors around the world. SharkNinja is building a new global competitive intelligence capability modeled after the rigor, diligence, and competitive intensity of top-tier Wall Street investment analysts - adapted for a fast-moving operating company. The purpose of this function is to increase global external awareness and insight generation, elevate the quality and intensity of strategic debate, improve conviction in commercial decision-making, identify inflection points before they become consensus, and bridge global market intelligence with internal commercial strategy. This group will serve as a high-leverage insight engine for global Commercial leadership - influencing pricing, portfolio prioritization, retailer strategy, innovation focus, and capital allocation decisions across regions. The Principal, Competitive Insights Analyst is a global role that will analyze competitive dynamics, category shifts, pricing behavior, and channel evolution across all major regions - North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. As the Principal, Competitive Insights Analyst, you will anchor SharkNinja’s global strategic decisions in external reality - not internal narrative - applying a disciplined change-vs-consensus framework across geographies and channels, identifying what is changing globally, determining whether the change is structural or temporary, assessing whether risk or opportunity is underappreciated, and translating insight into decisive global commercial action.
