About The Position

Fire TV Channels (FTVC) BD is looking for a talented, self-starting Principal BD to join the global FTVC BD team. This person will have two primary objectives. First, this person will be a Creator & Podcasts expert in the US. This responsibility will involve working with digital agencies, talent managers, and creative talent directly and educating them on the FTVC opportunity. This person will provide a critical feedback loop to the FTVC Product team as it builds tools (e.g. a self-service portal for publishers) and policies (e.g. content moderation and takedown) for Creators & Podcasts. Second, this person will be own our Fire TV Channels Content Investment Program focused on Sports content.

Requirements

• 10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
• 10+ years of professional or military experience
• 7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
• 7+ years of solving problems with technology in the Media & Entertainment Industry experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
• Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
• Knowledge of big data businesses and technical concepts

Responsibilities

• Execute agreements with and onboard over 30 Creators and Podcasts globally.
• Assist with FTVC GTM strategy for Creators and Podcasts.
• Scale our Content Investment Program globally.
