About The Position
Principal Blockchain Engineer – FDAM - Asset Management Technology The Role An ideal candidate for this role will bring deep expertise in blockchain technologies to design, build and deploy secure and scalable blockchain-based applications. The candidate has hands-on experience in smart contract development , application of blockchain concepts, wallet management and integration with DeFi protocols. This role will be responsible for translating business requirement into high-quality blockchain architecture and code ensuring performance, security and compliance. Requirements
- 10-12 years of software engineering experience; at least 3 years in blockchain development
- Proficiency in Web3, smart contract development (Solidity, Rust), deep understanding of blockchain consensus mechanism, token standards, cryptography, transaction lifecycle, layer-2 scaling, use of Oracles and cross-chain communication
- Design and implement scalable blockchain based system for tokenization, smart wallets and integration with DeFi protocols for primarily public blockchains like Ethereum, Solana and private DLTs
- Build on-chain and off-chain component for decentralized applications, interoperability between blockchain components and integration with traditional financial systems
- Knowledge of API integration, microservices, event driven architecture, cloud-native services (AWS), containerization (Docker, EKS) and DevSecOps pipelines
- Work with engineering and product managers, architects, team of blockchain engineers and full stack engineers
- Promotes and demonstrates a learning mindset by staying abreast of emerging trends in blockchain technology
- Strong in communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills with which you influence decisions and engagement across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to proactively share your knowledge, expertise, perspectives and nurture a learning culture across your team and the broader organization
- Work closely with globally distributed product, engineering and business teams across regions which may include working across time zones and travel for business workshops, planning sessions and meetings
