About The Position

The Principal Associate, Technical Recruiter at Capital One plays a crucial role in the Talent Acquisition team, focusing on attracting and retaining top talent in the technology sector. This position involves managing the full lifecycle of recruiting, providing consulting and guidance to hiring teams, and enhancing the overall recruiting experience. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or client consulting, or a combination of these experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification.
  • 1+ years of experience with AI focused recruitment.
  • 4+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting - full life cycle, research, and sourcing.
  • 2+ years experience consulting with multiple hiring managers while developing excellent working relationships.
  • Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in compensation and general HR requirements related to hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs.
  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process and hiring deliverables, including creating position descriptions and sourcing diverse candidate pipelines.
  • Market Capital One's talent brand to attract top talent and negotiate job offers.
  • Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent, owning the candidate development process from identification to offer extension.
  • Work cross-functionally with a team of recruiters to promote a culture of inspiration, empowerment, and inclusion.
  • Leverage recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
  • Source candidates using innovative techniques beyond direct applications.
