Principal Associate, Retail Marketing Engagement| Retail Bank At Capital One, we’re building a leading information-based technology company. Capital One, a Fortune Magazine “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is seeking an experienced marketer, Principal Associate Retail Marketing Engagement to drive visibility to our brand defining cafes. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and executing large-scale campaigns across multiple channels. You’ll work across digital, social, and physical channels to engage new and existing customers, while building and amplifying cafés within our network. Reporting to the Bank’s Senior Manager of Retail Marketing, the Principal Associate of Retail Marketing Engagement is a key member of the Bank’s Integrated Marketing team, will be part of a high-performing marketing team dedicated to amplify our brand, drive awareness and deepen customer engagement. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and navigating an ever-changing business landscape. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with cross-functional teams, feel comfortable with data and deliver results that will impact the future of our Bank. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in digital or social marketing
  • At least 4 years of experience in partnering with creative teams
  • At least 4 years of experience in planning, executing and analyzing marketing campaigns

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy
  • 5+ years of experience driving creative strategy and marketing testing plans
  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment

Responsibilities

  • Shepherd multiple marketing creative projects at once from brief to execution while ensuring strategic intent aligns with execution at every step
  • Own and optimize “Now Open” campaigns and ongoing consumer engagement initiatives across all relevant marketing channels.
  • Lead the planning and execution of always-on content across internal platforms, email, digital channels, and social media to continuously engage customers and reinforce brand storytelling.
  • Oversee organic and reactive social media to amplify reach and engagement.
  • Partner closely with creative, digital, and operations to bring campaigns to life
  • Advance our channel optimizations by improving analytics and testing capabilities, measurement/KPI (Key Performance Indicator)/metrics framework and reporting suites
  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills, managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of excellence and accuracy
  • Utilize problem-solving and influencing skills to help ensure marketing initiatives deliver on intent.
  • Support projects based on defined priorities; help ensure scope of deliverables, timelines, and budget are met; identify and escalate risks and issues as needed to manager and project lead
  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
  • Display strong consulting and collaboration skills
  • Efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources across multiple projects
  • Consistently managing leadership expectations, schedules, budgets, assets and scopes—organization and attention to detail is essential
