About The Position

This role provides business leadership by solving large, complex problems and making recommendations with well-supported rationale and a deep understanding of organizational impacts (people, process & technology). The Principal Analyst leads multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives concurrently to deliver innovative solutions and new capabilities. The position requires deep business knowledge in multiple relevant disciplines, strong technical aptitude, exceptional critical thinking skills, and the ability to drive innovation. The individual will monitor industry trends and technology advancements to develop a point of view on their application at T-Mobile, using this knowledge to develop new concepts and inspire others. This role may also involve managing a team of contract resources on either a short-term (project) or long-term (outsourced support team) basis. This position is based in Coppell, TX, with a five-day per week onsite requirement at the Distribution Center; remote work is not available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent

  • Management: Ability to direct projects, processes and teams to deliver desired outcomes; Proactively identifies risks and opportunities and develops mitigation plans; Manages direct reports of contract resources as assigned; Manages relationships with 3rd-party partners; Mentors and participates in the development of junior members of the team
  • Leadership: Ability to lead both formal and informal teams that may consist of functional or cross-functional cohorts
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to create effective presentations; Ability to effectively facilitate meetings or deliver training on new capabilities; Ability to synthesize complex concepts and communicate them effectively to any audience from individual contributors up to VP+ level; Ability to effectively describe business capability needs so that technical resources can translate into solution requirements; Ability to document business processes to support sustainable capabilities

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Acceptable areas of study include Business, Finance, Engineering, Management, Mathematics, Operations Management or related field
  • 7-10 years Relevant supply chain business experience in multiple supply chain disciplines (Planning, Forecasting, Allocation/Replenishment, Operations)
  • Training and application of Six Sigma, Lean, Design Thinking and other methodologies a plus
