About The Position

Job Summary: Strategically support the finance team by maximizing the effective operation of the Oracle Fusion SaaS application to meet the business needs and operational excellence. Identify opportunities to deploy application functionality that improves efficient business operations. Support and operate the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/SCM and related Oracle Service integrations to ensure reliable and accurate financial, inventory and supply chain processes for the telecommunications operations. Duties and Responsibilities: This position ensures the smooth operation of Oracle to meet the business needs; coordinates regular SAAS software upgrades, oversees the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle solutions. Assesses Oracle release impacts to Shentel operations, coordinates testing processes, and ensures interfaces with other boundary applications are optimized. Operate, maintain and administer Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/SCM modules (including Cloud ERP integrations) to support telecom finance, procurement, inventory, and asset management processes. Manage and configure packaged connectors and APIs between Oracle ERP/SCM and adjacent systems used in telecom operations, including but not limited to billing systems, field service platforms, IoT/connected-field-service components, GIS and HR systems, and CRM integrations. Responsible for development, design and testing of Oracle reporting to meet finance needs. Will also be responsible for updating reports or troubleshooting issues when reports are modified due to organizational changes. Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, network operations and asset teams to understand current challenges with platform and work to resolve. Solutions could explore configuration changes, knowledge on module best practices, or transforming work to better leverage platform. Configure and support financial interfaces for invoicing, billing handoffs and contract entitlements tied to outcome-based service models or telecom service contracts. Develop and enforce policies for data security and integrity. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. Work with IT Infrastructure to ensure system availability, perform upgrades (including minimizing downtime through zero-downtime strategies where applicable), patching and environment management for cloud ERP/SCM components. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Participate in requirements definition and business capability modeling to avoid overlooked functional requirements when integrating FSM, ERP and SCM capabilities for telecom use cases. Responsible for secure coding and administration. Role will need to follow change control process, document changes and comply with all SOX IT General Controls.

Requirements

  • 7 - 10 years with hands-on experience with Oracle ERP and partnering with accounting and supply chain teams.
  • A deep understanding of the application design structure, and functionalities and have demonstrated success in helping finance organizations leverage the application to transform finance processes.
  • Successful experience with administering, configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/SCM (including Asset-Based Service or Cloud ERP/SCM components).
  • Ability to communicate effectively across functional teams.
  • Exceptional project management experience.
  • Demonstrated background and understanding of accounting, finance, supply chain, inventory preferably in organizations with construction, field-service or telecommunications use cases.
  • Relevant certifications for Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM administration and integration (where applicable) and proven track record managing cloud upgrades and platform changes.
  • Experience working in a public traded company preferred with knowledge of SOX controls
  • Technical administration of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/SCM including integration layers.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining APIs, packaged connectors and integration middleware between ERP/SCM, FSM, IoT platforms and CRM/GIS systems.
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of accounting process and principles, including revenue reporting, cash management, SEC reporting, etc.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes: parts demand planning, procurement, inventory management, warranty and reverse logistics relevant to field-service-heavy telecom operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud administration tasks (upgrades, configuration management, high-availability) and with approaches to minimize downtime for business-critical systems.
  • Work with SOX controls and IT General Controls within a SOX environment.
  • Understand Change Control, Role based systems, code reviews, etc.
  • Communication and stakeholder collaboration skills to work with CAO-level sponsors, procurement, finance and external vendors/partners.
