About The Position

AWS is seeking an experienced Principal Account Manager for selling to Strategic AI ISVs and expanding business with our fastest-growing AI-native customers. The Principal Account Manager will be responsible for setting the long-term growth strategy and partnership with customers building foundation models, inference platforms, and AI applications. In addition to being customers, these companies partner with AWS as ISVs and have multiple go-to-market goals. In this role, you will build and maintain broad relationships, develop and manage opportunities, and facilitate a large team of extended resources. Why AWS? Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of cloud sales experience to Enterprise customers

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of the AI technology landscape including model training and inference, AI application architectures, and compute infrastructure (GPU/custom silicon)
  • Experience navigating technical partnerships and go-to-market collaborations
  • Track record of driving infrastructure adoption and workload migration for high-growth technology companies

Responsibilities

  • The Principal Account Manager is responsible for teaming with all aspects of the customer's organization. This includes C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner organizations, and sales teams.
  • Skills required to build relationships across an account include creative systems thinking, visioning, and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address all AI ISV customer needs.
  • The Principal Account Manager will also drive AI ISV segment strategy development and partner cross-functionally to execute it.
  • Driving adoption of AWS AI/ML infrastructure including GPU and custom silicon solutions for training and inference workloads
  • Positioning cost-optimized compute architectures to support rapid scaling and experimentation
  • Enabling technical migrations and workload optimization across diverse chip architectures
  • Supporting go-to-market partnerships and joint customer success initiatives
  • Navigating complex technical requirements for model training, fine-tuning, and inference deployment
