As the Account Executive for Google’s Walmart partnership, you will work to bring Walmart’s Performance Business to its next wave of growth - across Search and Shopping, serving as a high-stakes consultant within the growth organization. By acting as a trusted advisor, you will employ a "challenger" mindset to influence the adoption of transformational, first-to-market solutions. You will bridge the gap between technical nuance and business outcomes, navigating a complex competitive landscape to drive measurable, large-scale growth. An expert in the Google way of selling, you will orchestrate high-performing internal stakeholders—including Account Executives, Account Managers, Account Leads and Specialists—to execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs). You will manage competing priorities with judgment and focus on AI-powered performance strategies. Whether leading cross-functional collaboration or selling through creative technologies, your emphasis is on turning insights into return on investment-driven results for retail partnerships. Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and training, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building trusted advisor relationships at multiple altitudes, including C-level executives, while managing complex projects and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads solutions, performance marketing, and AI-driven media strategies, with a focus on delivering measurable return on investment and an understanding of the competitive retail ads industry.
  • Ability to solve complex business issues by translating highly technical solutions into creative, actionable strategies.
  • Ability to be a proven leader across teams, vertical, and the industry, with the ability to set ambitious goals and develop the strategic plan necessary to achieve for both the customer and Google on accounts roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of joint business plans, aligning with customers on ambitious goals and establishing shared accountability to unlock transformative growth opportunities.
  • Design and pitch powerful, data-driven Google solutions tailored to customer needs, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Google’s advertising offerings and compelling storytelling, while effectively navigating objections to secure investment and exceed revenue sales targets.
  • Demonstrate campaign results against customer objectives and competitor’s offerings, and share data-driven insights that shape customer strategies and reinforce the partnership.
  • Own the customer's growth trajectory by proactively identifying and cultivating a pipeline of new opportunities, leveraging insights and proven success to expand the partnership.
