SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Principal Rates Analyst‑Regulatory Policy serves as a senior subject‑matter expert in utility ratemaking and regulatory analysis. This role oversees, monitors, reviews, and evaluates laws and regulations that impact the utility’s business practices and regulatory filings. The incumbent develops highly complex analyses and performs related studies and modeling. This role is responsible for leading, developing, and maintaining analyses of utility regulatory filings for both gas and electric utilities. The Principal Rates Analyst‑Regulatory Policy works cross‑functionally and influences senior leaders by providing insights and recommendations grounded in rigorous quantitative and policy analysis, and reviews highly complex utility filings with public utility commissions.
